Join in the fun as communities up and down US 25 conduct a three day yard sale from Newport, Tennessee to Covington, Kentucky. Check out “US 25 Yard Sale” on Facebook. Vineyard Summerfest

Each Saturday In July and August When the Kentucky combination of heat and humidity make many outdoor activities too uncomfortable to enjoy, we will have a special program, presentation, lecture, or demonstration every Saturday afternoon in air conditioned comfort. Sept 4-6, 9am-5pm Open to all Ladies And Gentlemen – Compete for Prizes and Honor, or just enjoy an 18th century weekend. Plans currently include rifle shoot, woods walk, smoothbore match, Seneca run, hawk and knife, archery, flint and steel and tavern games. Prizes and blanket shoots. The 1778 Siege of Boonesborough

Sept 26-27, 9am-5pm Battle re-enactment each day. Come early and spend the day learning about 18th century life in Kentucky. See and learn about an ancient craft kept alive even to this day! This year, we are very pleased to have Peter Ross here at the fort to demonstrate the Craft. Peter worked at Colonial Williamsburg as the Master Blacksmith from 1979 to 2004. 18th Century Christmas at the Fort

Dec 11-12, 6-9PM Visit the Fort to see and hear the differences in the holiday celebrations of the season during the early settlement of Kentucky. The Fort will be lighted by candlelight, with decorations in keeping with the traditions of the time.
